The 2024 Taconic Hills Elementary Halloween Parade will be held on Thursday, October 31 beginning at 1:30PM. Parents are invited to line up along the gates of the Elementary and Jr/Sr High Parking lots by the bus lane to watch the parade go through!

Due to the Halloween Parade and Emergency Dismissal Drill happening on the same day, we anticipate this being a mass dismissal. The safety and security of our students is of utmost importance here at Taconic Hills Elementary School. We ask for your patience and cooperation as we make every attempt to get students out as quickly and safely as possible.

1. If you are planning to pick up your child early from the parade, send in a note to the Elementary Office by Wednesday, October 30, 2024.

2. If we do not have a pick up note by Wednesday, students will be following their designated Emergency Dismissal Plan

3. After the parade, all parents will return to their vehicles and follow our standard Pick-up Procedure, as outlined on the district website here: https://www.taconichills.k12.ny.us/.../dropoff-pickup ...

4. Dismissal will begin at 2:00pm
