In preparation for our author/illustrator visit last week, the elementary students were tasked with creating their own superhero. The overall winner was promised a life size version of their drawing. 
The overall winner was Jakob Mayville, with his super heroes "The Burger King Crew" consisting of a Juice Cannon, Fry Cannon, Nugget Laser, Super Sonic Scream, and Onion Ring Flame!
Jakob also received a positive critique from our author illustrator and an autograph.
All of the creative superheroes are still on display in the elementary hallway.
