Fifth grade student Auggie recently entered an essay contest called "President for a Day". He wrote about what he would do if he got the chance to become President of the U.S. for a day, which included protecting endangered species, starting a food pantry, and constructing a seeing eye dog center.
Auggie's creativity and generous nature placed him first in New York's 19th Congressional District! He received a letter and Congressional Proclamation from Congressman Mark Molinaro.
Congratulations, Auggie!
