STOPit Program

In April 2023, Taconic Hills Central School District began working with STOPit Solutions to introduce the STOPit Program, a free resource for students and families that can help with food, housing, crisis counselors, suicidal feelings, anxiety, depression, abuse, violence intervention, and more.

STOPit is a 100% Anonymous program, allowing individuals to anonymously report safety, misconduct, or compliance concerns to help others or connect with trained Crisis Counselors from the Crisis Text Line™ to help themselves.

How STOPit works:

Download the STOPit app on your phone or personal device, or click here for the online STOPit site.

If using the app, enter District Access Code: Stopthcsd23.

Once you are in, it is as easy as 1-2-3:

  1. Be courageous

  2. Identify your need in the app

  3. STOPit will connect you with the help that you need

Click here for a short training video on how to use STOPit.

When a report is made, it will be sent to our school counselors, social workers, psychologists, and administration.
